About Us

 Hi, we are Dena and Nick Minnie. We are a family owned and operated business and we absolutely love trees and transforming them! 

We originated from Pinellas County and had a very successful business there. Once the corona virus hit, we felt it would be wise to move away from a population of  over 3 million to the Tallahassee area. We have since acquired chickens, built a couple gardens, and have larger plans in the future. We absolutely love where we are right now and are happy the situation pushed us into our dream of homesteading. So far we feel like Tallahassee has been very welcoming to us and look forward to making more connections, as trees seem to do that.

As for Nick, he grew up climbing trees as most young boys do and jumped on the opportunity to learn more about the care for them when given the chance. He has been working with trees for over fifteen years and trained under an arborist. He has worked for big companies and for himself over that time. He has gained a vast knowledge on how to keep your trees in their most happiest and beautiful state. He is also a climber and can remove trees without the need for heavy equipment, which also means removing trees from hard to reach places. As for me, I have a master's degree in social work and enjoy bringing skills I learned from my previous career to our tree business. 

We are honest and hard working people, so when we come to your home or business you can expect a fair and honest assessment of what your trees need to develop into their older years without issue. We will provide you with information we gain about your trees and their current condition. We are in the business of trees for a reason and that is the love and admiration we have for them. Our goal is to make sure not only your trees are happy but also that you are pleased with the outcome.
